Brief

To design a unique magazine cover with a masthead, story titles and subtitles.

Description

I began the project by searching for a refence photo and drew my design free hand with paper and pencil. I then used Adobe Photoshop to alter the photo based on my design and added the flowers to the image. This project allowed me to experiment with different design approaches and learn several new Photoshop techniques to improve my skills. I created three additional designs for this project, but this one was the strongest. It had the most refined layout, better visual balance, and a more effective design overall.
